Here is the final version of the city I made a while back. It has had a few lighting changes but I think I am done with it now. It uses a lot of 3D and a lot of Photoshop. Thanks for viewing!

Not everything has to be disected and critiqued. It's all about the end result.

Dave, when are you gonna start on that short damnit?

I love the colors in this :applause: looks great, but what I'd really like is a much bigger render!

simply stunning!!I agree with the greater render.. not as to critic it, but just because it has so many splendid details that we cannot fully appreciate at this resolution..however it is simply great!!:wip:

Thanks for the comments! I will get a bigger pic up there when I get home later today. And Gene(boo man) good to hear from you again. Good call. I want the work looked at as a whole, not each individual part.

visualboo - I will work on the Short as soon as I have time... 2006 perhaps?

:surprised this is a gallery dude.. and if not.. crit the ps effects.

anyway I'm not a too big fan of the different coloursections. You see that a lot in games (check out unreal), different parts of rooms are completely different lighted. beside the fact that it's totally unreal (?? ehm... you get my point) I don't like it. Also i don't really like the border.

Though the render looks pretty neat. Larger render without the funky colours would rock. I love the sunbeams in the middle.

keep it up

This is overall a really nice image with some good composition. I like the post-processed effects. I like the amount of detail that you put into the city right down to some people wandering the streets.

Mabye crop out the black at the bottom of the frame or put something in that space?

Do you have an even larger version?
