View Full Version : Windows 8 compatible app list ?

Anyone who tried windows 8 rtm ?
I heard that this version is available for developers.
I want to know the compatible application list.
I'll buy a windows 8 some weeks later because ms upgrade price is good.
But I have no plan to upgrade my CG tools any more. (max, photoshp, etc)
who have tried it?

Not sure I understand what perspective you are inquiring about- a developer perspective or user?

There are actually already quite a few apps available on it. Been using the Sketchbook app (also have the full install 2013 version)- have used autodesk and Mari apps with no issues even with an unsupported vid card- ironically the only app I've had issues with is Photoshop- when the GPU is enabled I get a background transparency flicker but when disabled all is fine.

personally I like better than all other os uses. Its fluid and does an excellent job giving u the ability to use mode and keyboard or mouse or wacom etc. a example. Sketchbook app you can draw on screen with your fingers and or us a wacom tablet with pressure without issues
