View Full Version : HD4000 for Digital Painting?

Im wanting to get a small Mac mini for my other room. Im in no hurry so I will wait for the updated mini. Will the HD4000 be enough for digital painting or will it be lacking?

if you're just using Painter and Photoshop, it will be fine. CS6's GPU stuff isn't nearly complex enough to be a problem with onboard graphics. It's very basic.

I only have issues on my current HP laptop (HD4000) when I beef up the DPI 300+. then I start getting brush lag (thru connected Intuos 3 or track pad)

Thanks for the input. I suppose the cintiq is out of the question then?
