In your tutorials manual just follow one of the projects from where they get to final animation, that way you will get all the info you need, and it will be explained more easily and you can refer to it later.

p 417 of the manul talks about 'recompute' and radiosity'
p 417 of the tutorial manual talks about the logo tutorial
I want to render the above tutorial into a movie
The logo tute you can find does it carry on to animating the Logo?
Also what version of C4D are you using?

you need to learn how to read a manual man. Of course with a PDF file I can see how one may be confused as the overall page count doesn't match the page numbers. But why aren't you using your boookmanual, could it be you don't have one.
Try this again, Chapter 13*RENDER MENU*417
SAVE TAB
there should be an image of the save tab.
FORMAT
Then the text for your question is right there. But I suggest you leanr how to read a manual, then buy the program. then come back and as some questions.
After you have read XL's manual.

Save as OBJ's or DXF, even 3DS is supported by both. each has their advantages and disadvantages.b I suggest OBJ if possible.
