Hi Guys,

I am trying to learn to use Maya. The problem I have is that I’m terrible crappy to remember text commands. I need symbols to help me to know what a command is doing.

I did drop my Softimage plans for that reason as its lack of symbols/icons. Maya in the other hand has icons, a lot of icons… But no tutorials are using them so I’m still stuck with the need to remember a lot of text commands. I know I can fill up the shelves with all Mayas icons. But it will get messy and many “hidden” icons do not have full description either.

Many programs are using icons in their drop-downs menus like below but not Maya. I like that concept.

So, I need to find someone who can write me a script/plug-in so the icons appears in the Mayas drop-down menus. It can’t be that difficult as all commands have an icon assign to it already. I also would like to be able to adjust the the space between each row to make the icons larger. Also I would like the script/plugin to add all hot-key-shortcuts to the menu as well as some of them seams to be hidden in Maya 2013.

Maybe there is just a setting in Maya to fix this, but i have spent days looking for such thing without finding any info about it.

Thanks,
Zoom
