Just wondering what you guys thought of the 2 brands of tablets- looking for a good on the go paint option: Fujitsu Lifebook T902 vs Lenovo x230T... haven't checked for coupon codes either= just heard bad and good about the 901 and the x230 but like the ability to paint on the go- mostly when inspiration hits me- I am not waiting for new wave to come out cuz the only thing that could be much better is the video- ps I intend to personal upgrade the RAM and the HDD- also added the mSATA boot drive to the 902- is it worth it?

I have an older Fujitsu (T5010) that I use for professional storyboarding jobs, and even after 3 and a half years of very heavy use it's still going strong. The Fujitsu models have excellent screens and are very well built.

Cool- only intend to use it for Photoshop stuff mostly, Maybe Mudbox/Mari if it runs good but primarily Photoshop Viz and storyboard stuff. Only part I was worried about was the graphics- Intel 4000- not famil with that.

For storyboard work it will be the perfect machine, it's essentially the same experience as drawing on a Cintiq (I have both and the feel is exactly the same even if the specs aren't).

It definitely will not run Mari though, Mudbox perhaps. My model runs Zbrush perfectly well, and modo also.

Was planning to upgrade the RAM to 16GB (both support it) and the HDD to a larger SSD. I know the graphics are a hindrance but I like the ability to be portable and draw/paint etc. Mari would be nice to use but I figured as much- I'll prob try a trial of it on whatever I end up with to see but figured it.

Windows Slate brings promising features but IMO won't be as good a machine as the Fujitsu.
