Dell Precision T5400 W/

*DUAL QUAD Xeon CPU 2.83GHz/12mb L2/1333 fsb (quad-core), Eight real CPUs, E5440

*16 GB DDR2-667 Fully Buffered (8 DIMMs), (Maximum 8x4GB=32 GB),

*160 GB Raptor 10K for boot, and 500GB SATA for storage

*(2) NVidia FX570 video cards or (2) NVidia FX3450

I am just getting started with Unity 3D and UDK programming. I have access to Lightwave 9 and also Maya 2010 from school. Just wanted to see if this can be used as it is being given to me.

OR- should I bild this instead?

MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Deluxe Intel Z77 ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1155 P8Z77-V DELUXE

GPU: ZOTAC GeForce GTX-670 AMP! Edition 2GB

POWER SUPPLY: Corsair Professional Series HX1050 80 PLUS Silver Certified 1050-Watt Power Supply

OPTICAL DRIVE: ASUS BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS 12X Blu-ray Internal Burner with Disc Encryption, Black

SYSTEM DRIVE: Samsung 830 Series 2.5-Inch 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

DATA DRIVE: WD Caviar Black 2TB SATA III 7200RPM 64MB CACHE BULK/OEM

SOUND CARD: ASUS PCI-Express x1 7.1 Channel Sound Card XONAR_DX/XD/A/90-YAA060-1UAN00Z

WIRELESS NIC: ASUS(PCE-N15) maximum performance Wireless-N Network Adapter with PCI-E interface

KEYBOARD & MOUSE: Razor Black Widow Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard / Razor Deathadder Infrared Gaming Mouse

I do not mind the build, but if the Dell can work for now, I can put off the build until next year.

Thank you!

Fred
