View Full Version : QT AutoStart delay?

Hello.
As I understand it, when posting a QT on a web page, with autostart as TRUE, QT considers the connection speed, then starts the mov once it thinks the download has a sufficient head start. The problem is that this is often miscalculated, resulting in several false starts and stutters, as the mov catches up to and collides with the download. Is there a way to force QT to hold off a bit (be more patient or conservative in it's estimation of readiness) on the autostart.
Am I making sense?
TIA

just hit the pause button and wait.
The problem is your anxiousness, not QT.

LOL.
I'm not talking about me. I'm concerned about the viewing experince of prospective clients visiting my site. But thank you, I'll just tell them to be less anxiousness...
Or more likely, turn off AutoStart.
