Hi!
Im quite new to modeling, i'm only polygon modeling right now and head's are my favorit object to model, now to the question :D
How should you split up the modeling "path".
I start with one big box, subdivide it so it gets about four faces on each side, deleting half the side and just spreds out the vertexts to fit my refrence images!
Then i subdivide it one more time and try to hit all the muscular structure, after that is done i split some polys and cut out eye sockets, mouth & nose. and just model the parts on to the model.
The thing is i never get's it as good as i want, it might just be me but they dont really look like the ref images at all.
Is this just a question of need more practise? or are there some secrets i'v missed about modeling after ref images?
Ehm...
Well this just got wierd :D
What im relly looking for is the do's and dont's in modeling =)
Stupid question but hey... if you dont ask em' you'll be just as stupid as you were before :D
Thanks!
