Hi All,

Does anyone have trouble with snapping in C4D? I have been trying to act "cool" with it but it just bugging me more and more now.

Or is it just me? Am I missing a good tip?

I never had luck snapping something to anything on 1 axis only. Sometimes it looks OK from 1 view but when I come back to persp everything is a mess and I have to redo them all over again.

Comments?

hm ... i don't know exactly what the problem is but maybe you should turn on 2d-snapping.

actually the opposite of that, you need 3D snapping, the default is 2.5d snapping which will snap visually in 3d by snapping accross a plane parrallel to the view.
