Export .obj file into series of PNG files.

I have a .obj file and want to export/convert it into a series of images (PNG, JPEG, etc). Does blender provide functionality to accomplish this?

For example I have a globe and want to export it into PNGs that create a world map.

Wavefront .obj files are not animated. Perhaps you need to provide more detail in your question.

Not sure what you're asking, but why don't you just render it as a PNG?
