View Full Version : Alpha channel doesn't work when exported to .3ds

I have a .max model which is mapped with a .tga texture file with alpha channel for transparency.The model renders perfectly OK when i load up the .max file. But when i export the model to the .3ds format and import the .3ds file into 3D MAX.The alpha channel is screwed up and the transparent part of the texture becomes transluscent. Does .3DS support targa file format alpha channel?Can anyone help me with this?Thanx a lot in advance.
