I made a pencil sketch. but i had some problems geting it scaned,so i turned to photoshop instead, but working whit a mouse in photoshop is rather dificult

I used some textures to define the forms better

a modeling test trying to achieve an organic look.
Th best way to get that look is with lots of research.
I used a vertebrae as reference

Looks like you're off to a start.. a giant ravine. Are those going to be large building-like structures under the bridge? Don't forget to add forground, midground and background elements to give the image some depth.

To answer your question I just extruded circles along spline paths. I just discovered a way to use particles to emit splines,so I'll be adding a lot more hoses to my image.

I got this idea while watching a national gepgraphic coral reef story.
to make this material i composited three diferent renders in after effects

puting diferent objects in the scene.
rendering is geting complicated I did 24 render to composite in after effects my computer just canīt handle this scene

I am finally starting to think like an alien.
I was testing surfaces and came up with this one, and it made me change my whole concept of alien living.
Please send me some feedback.

whoa! that compositied purple material thing looks FANTASTIC! the new textures look very alien, i think you should continue in that direction, its looking great! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
