Hi there, I would like to share my modelling workflow by making screen capture videos of my timelapse. I've got TSCC Codec instaled, how do you proceed then ??
I'm using max 5.1

I can think of a couple of ways to do it. That are pretty quick and easy.

1. Download the free version of Fraps (www.fraps.com) and then use that to record your timelapse, this will only record the viewports tho as it only records DX or OpenGL, its primary use if for record game movies. This will produce a video that is uncompressed, so you will need to compress it afterwords.

2. Download the demo of camtasia studio (http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp) this will enable you to capture full screen or part of the screen, or even an area around the mouse cursor that follows the cursor (very cool). This program compresses on the fly, you can even use its own codec which makes great movies with small files sizes.

Another good one is Camstudio (http://www.ehelp.com/camstudio/product/screenrecording/) - it's free.

Techsmith codec works with Camtasia that was mentioned by DaForce (it has a free crackable trial, otherwise it's $299).
