here is a flyer I finished after working on it yeasterday, produced in Lightwave and Photoshop.

the upper part, the text and the look of wet paint looks good. the lower part imho does not match the style that you started with the text itself. it clashes to much. maybe try to simplify/stylize the paint-util by not using 3d rendered elements.
