Hi guys!
My name is Ioan Dumitrescu. I'm a concept artist and also the organizer of the Behind the Iron Curtain workshop!
Some people might remember it from 2010 when we had an awesome time with Stephan Martiniere, Steambot Studios, Mark Goerner, Kekai Kotaki, Alex Alvarez! Now it has grown and awaits you to join the family for September 14-17, in Bucharest Romania.
This years workshop will focus not only on Concept Art but also on 3D.
With the amazing artists Iain McCaig (Star Wars, John Carter etc) Raphael Lacoste (the AD at Ubisoft for Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed), Alessandro Baldasseroni (lead character artist at Blur Studio), Daniel Simon (Lead vehicle artist on Tron, Captain America, Prometheus, and his own company Cosmic Motors) and last but not least Neville Page (creature designer for Avatar, Star Trek, Prometheus etc) you should expect an educational event that is unique and true to what it set out to do in 2010. Inspire, teach and connect a community of artists, through some of the most amazing instructors that take teaching seriously and have the years of experience and creativity to back them up.
