Hey
Decided to do some more pics with my A12.
But when I discovered how bad the modeling was, I decided to redo it. The new model does look alot more like the real plane.
The old one is a real piece of crap compared to this one :)
The materials were all wrong too, my understanding is a bit better now that it was then.
The plane is not really finished, I need to add some 'holes' and control-surfaces, but I have no clear idea on where they need to go. ( No new schematics have showed up since the last version of this model : ( ) Could they still exist somewhere?
I hope that they weren't destroyed when the plane was cancelled... That seems to be the most likely situation...

But here is the picture, going for a semi-realistic 3d - illustration look.

C&C are welcome :)

hmmm, nice render. I don't know about the planes, but there is too little content in there....too little detail.

let me add that i really really like this one. i don't dig the infinite amounts of detail that everyone seems to be striving for - thats a fruitless pursuit to my eyes.

i really enjoy the minimalist presentation here that just looks 'finished' in a campy 50's sci fi sort of way. mostly i get that impression from the perspective, composition, colour choice and oddly the model of the plane.

this would make a cool poster.

Tottaly agree with Mrbean. The image is very beatiful and it does have that feeling.

Though, you have to look again those intakes :)
