View Full Version : particle Motion
scroll-lock 11-27-2003, 06:19 AM there is a demoscene in the "scenes\_features\particles_dynamics " folder called Demo_AtomicBomb.lws
The bomb is made of 3 emitters and some collisions. That`s ok. But there is another scene in "ParticleFX" folder called fxspaneplaybombs.lws - the motion of the first scene is loaded and played on ONE emitter.
My question is how can you save the motion of 3 particle systems and load them into one ??? That sounds very strange to me..

I wonder if there is a way to save the 3 emmiters as one effect, then reload it as one using one of those FX_Start or End or whatever things in Layout? I would try it out if I was somewhere that had Lightwave installed, but I'm at my girlfriends house for Thanksgiving.

hmm, too bad pfx are hexidecimal when opened with a text editor so that wont help.

someone will know.

I think it's something to do with using the 'parent recorded cp option' in fx properties dialogue.
check 17.15 of your manual.

"Record CP" option only make the emitter to start on a collision event, but there is still the question how to import 3 emitters in one.. Please if someone knows the answer, write about it.
