Speed Modelling 6

Welcome to the new speed modelling, this time we are doing it more simplified with a set time limit for each of the items. I will keep the objects real simple so each week there will be 5 new items.
Gonna try this over the summer with a new thread every Saturday.

Items (1 hour time limit for each of the items)

-teapot
-tea infuser ball
-tea set
-spoon
-white sugar bowl

A tea infuser ball gives you guys the opportunity to try out a diamond shape array for the netting on the ball, we talked about it in a previous thread. :)

For the tea set above you get one hour for each object in the set, if you really wanna put yourself to the test it is one hour for the entire set.

10 min for the cups, about 40 for the teapot, 20-30min for the sugar bowl, 5-10 min for the spoon and the tea infuser without time measuring ;) All in Maya.
used for the tea infuser not the recommendet diamond shape array as I thought it's easier to use bump and opacity. Here the infuser again to get a better look:

Hope you like it. :)

Awesome nice work there. :)

Been trying to find some way to bend the array around a sphere in blender but came up to some kind of stop on the way, not sure how to do it either. Is it easy in Maya?

Maya got a new "tool" with the muscle-shelf. With this might be not so a big problem - but I didn't used it by now. Just watched a tutorial about it.

Bending is also easy in Maya with the animation menu (create deformers -> bend) but I think its hard to bend it so it gets a sphere - you can only bend in one axis at a time. Thats why I used opacity instead.
