Hi!
It seems the wip-forums gets deleted at times. When I was writing a comment on an image, I thought I'd post a link to another architectural interior image that was in the forum earlier and how it developed and the great feedback the artist got (not from me, from others, especially zokana). Unfortunately, I'm unable to find it (seems all old wip-threads are gone?). It's a bit sad, as I think many could learn also be following other peoples wip threads.
I realise of course there are some problems with old threads as well, as not all images are still available on the hosting sites used and without them of course the value is gone. I don't have a perfect suggestion to a solution. All images hosted on cg-society would of course be the best solution, but would require more bandwidth and storage space. I assume all of this has been considered already and the current situation is a conscious choice.
Perhaps a voting system to keep a wip thread and threads with enough vote counts go to an archive? (Just a quick thought, not very well thought through.)
