I want to animate some rope knots, and have had limited success just animating splines to a path using path deform. With careful keyframing it works, but the problem comes if I want to tighten the knot. I though reactor would work, as I just got the new trial of max 6, but so far am butting my head against the wall trying to get a rope to follow the path. When I apply path deform, it works, but none of the collison detection seems to work. I have turned on avoid self-intersections, and made sure all the objects have mass and are part of an appropriate collection. Any ideas?
