How to get this type of light in Mental Ray in max. I am trying to self illuminate it in my interior but it wasn't giving me that kind of result.

And is there is any alternative to VRayLight (which we select and draw in viewport) in mental ray.

You could do that by placing long area lights in there

Yep. Use Max!

I would alternatively try using long planes with "mia_light_surface" shaders in the Additional Color slot of your shader. The Light Surface shader has Light, Final Gather, and Reflection contribution factors and you can also control it by attaching it to an actual light, if you so desire.

You can consider the Light Surface shader to be a "Final Gather geometry light".
