I can see it, it's brilliant,- it looks very realistic, the hair is excellent too...

ma.ma.me.ya: Do you have a website? I'd love to see more of your work, especially the tetsudo character.

wow that looks good dude, maybe the bumb is a little (= a very little) too strong or the colours in the lower parts of the bump is too dark but overall very good

yo! ma.ma.me.ya!!
you did a good job again!
nice texutring and lighting. i'm really surprised by how simple
your actual model is. i was gonna say the eyes of character were
too clean at his age but you fixed it later in the 2nd image.
definately two thumbs for the 2nd one from me.
therefore no critique from me!!

I think the lens flare could be different, but I really like the two images. I didn't notice a difference, for some reason. But you've done a great job. I would like to see him animated, to see his consistancy in character... not many characters like this come around :) Something new is always cool. But yeah, I am not a fan of the lens flare. You could make a better one by hand maybe.

Amazing work you've done here. I was also surprised to see how simple the model actually was. This goes to show you how much better your model can look if you have good texturing techniques.
Please make a web-site I would really like to see some more of your work!

Lensflare... :banghead:

It's not 1997, so the lensflare has got to go. Otherwise, a really nice piece!

I have to agree, the lens flare isn't needed here and adds a distracting element.

the work is fairly good, you did a lot of good work on the textures. one weak spot I see is the iris of the eyes are very flat, if you add a bump there, and more variation in the coloration of the iris is would help the eyes come to life.

I might have also added more sag to the skin, give him more jowls and more sag under the chin. the bags under the eyes should be a little flatter and not quite so puffy.

Very nice work there... those textures are kick@s$

Do cameras create lens flares when you shoot into the sun? in my experience they do... you don't have to create "reactionary" work and deny reality just because in the past people have abused the use of a certain photoshop filter...
otherwise you'd have to render a clean shaven "metrosexual" (facial hair is so last century)
