[WIP] my little Santa, moving...

Nice - a bit too fast at the beginning considering Santas age. Soft IK for the hat would be cool - it seems you forgot to animate it.
Is he making a snowball?

hey, he's fun. the lighting is very appealing. he does seem a bit spritely for an old guy.

He is the spirit of Christmas, boys and girls. I agree about the hat- animate that thing and it will add another dimension to that animation. It's all in the details...

thanx for the comments. I definitely agree on the hat thing. But, the problem with the project is, that we have to do 8 other scenes and backgrounds and lighting and shading and rendering, all in one week. That's very little time to face the details :-(


The speed of the guy is intentional, on the other hand, as the story demands a lively little dwarf. You'll see when I post the hole thing.

This is looking really nice! The snow has a great feel to it....
Nice character as well... can we get the character still and wire?
Could he possibly turn then reach into the air a little, striking a pose for a fraction of a second then dive his hands into the snow instead of it being one fluid motion... dunno, might provide just a little more character. I think his left foot could pitch up a little more as he steps to the left and then snap down a little more.
