View Full Version : [Question]Raytrace reflections+Normal map
Kryonix 06-06-2012, 02:55 AM I'm not really sure what is causing this, but when I apply my normal map to the table the reflection gets very warped. Any ideas?

im guessing the uvs on the table are skewing the normal map, maybe export them with no smoothing depending on what you made them in. Does that table really need a normal map, it doesnt have a lot of detail.

I'm planning on adding some detail in the normal map which is why I was trying to figure out what was going on. The problem seemed to be with the Standard Normal map shader so I switched to the MetaSL: Normals Bumpmap Shader and it seems to have fixed the problem.
