Does anyone know why Worley's Gaffer plug-in is not available for purchase? There's an info page, but the plug-in is not listed on the purchase page.

Also, could anyone comment on the differences between Gaffer and Shadow Designer?

not sure but G2 is newer, it may have replaced it.

For the most part, Gaffer's features have been added to G2.

Gaffer is basically a lighting tool, giving control over intensity boosting, layered specular, and so on. Shadow Designer gives control over simple soft shadows.
