CGTalk - Please, HELP!!!!!

I'm just rendering the final piece of a TV animated ad... A couple of minutes ago, right in the middle of the render my computer crashed (Mac G5 OSX). I said: "Well, let's render it again" and now I can't see any DOF settings in the Render screen and, what is really weird, the Radiosity and Caustics settings are disabled also... Please, I need urgent help on how to turn the DOF settings back again !!!!!

Hi,

looks like Cinema doesn't recognize the Advanced Render module after the crash. Make sure it ist installed and loaded properly and try again. Hope this helps

if you create a new file can you set radiosity and caustics eg is advanced renderer recognised then?
contact maxon support i'm sure they can help directly if you're against the clock:shrug:

The same thing happens if I create a new file...tryed all alternatives with the same results... Yesterday night I deleted everything that had a C4D as a name on my HD...installed everything again (including the 8.1 upgrade) and......NOTHING!!!
Yeah, I guess I have no more doors to knock at than Maxon's...:banghead:

seems like good advice to make sure the advanced render module is installed properly.

Also render out as tiff sequence if you arn't already then you only have to render out the frames it did'nt render
