I'm in..
Softwares to use;
3ds max - pflow box 2 and 3, fume
comp - ae, nuke

initial idea; freeform (collaboration)
- two lego cars racing in a lego environment (buildings, structures, etc..)
- shot 01 - cam orbit fish eye's view of tire (back of the car) at a distance signal lights (dof)
- shot 02 - greenlight, race starts (fx tire burnout)
...car starts racing, bumping on structures, building...collapsing
...some shots are time ramped (slomos) with camera orbit around the collapsing blocks
will finalize the idea on my next post.

looks promising :)

Nice! looking for the destruction!

this looks very cool - the model and the destruction ..oh my...

Your motion and tire burn out is good and feels a little icy, but overall not bad. jiggle the car a little as the tires turn, from the intense fiction, and this will add some weight. also the car could rattle a bit, to show the shock waves of the engine moving through its parts ;)

not yet.. right now it's only linked together. will try to rig it when i have some more spare time.. now im more focusing environment and the block simulations.. btw, very cool model you got there.

Thanks for your suggestions! i will try to add some of that on my next update together with the environment.

Good suggestions already. Also, don't forget to animate/spin the front tires ;)
Cool work so far!

been busy for a while...
now working on some structures for the environment..

one question... i have a problem on the ground for my first shot.. in my screenshot the particles share the same vertex position that's why there are some different colored spots on the surface on some of the lego blocks. i used pflow position object to position the block on selected vertices. i have 4917 selected vertices so i only need 4917 birth particles to fill my ground. but as i have said some of them share the same vertex position although i already tried to adjust the particle separation. is there some other way to tweak it.

thanks!
