I'm trying to export some stuff selected from a scene, but if i do cmds.file([...], exportSelected = True), it also exports the references in the file, even if nothing from the reference is selected...
The only flag that seems to do something is exportSelectedNoReference which is obsolete!!

so, maya fail or my fail?

from pymel.core import *
exportSelected("path/fileName.mb")

Does this work for you?

I found a workaround, but I will try that tomorrow at work and i'll let you know. The only thing that bothers me is the use of pymel, because I'm trying to make my scripts as library agnostic as possible. Anyway, thanks for the help!
