The tutorials can be on simulations & rendering.

Hi

this is not rendering or simulation, but i think it might be usefull to someone :)

it's about greating lego object of 3d models.

the process is a little long, but here it goes.

1.st you need a programm called LSculpt (get it here) (http://code.google.com/p/lsculpt/downloads/detail?name=LSculpt_0.5.0_win32.zip&can=2&q=)

then take the object you want in 3ds or maya or any other 3d programm and expoert it to OBJ file

now open that file in LSulpt and adjust the settings as you like.
Save as any LDraw file (dat, ldr... )

now you need a programm called LeoCad (get ir here) (http://code.google.com/p/leocad/downloads/detail?name=LeoCAD-0.76.2-5823-setup.exe&can=2&q=)
open the LDraw file in LeoCad and export it to 3d studio or obj.

and open it back in your 3d programm :)

it does take a good time on larger objects, but it's faster than building it yourself :)

Grabbed both tools - these are rather cool and fun. Unfortunately tool uses 1x1 and not a mix, and they overlap and touch - which PhysX will not like - but still cool and fun to mess with. Great for solid brick decorations done rather quickly (though can get poly-count heavy).

Wish the export tool let us add 'space' or a 'grab' between the bricks, similar to a RayFire frag feature.
