Just wanted to share my rigging reel with you and get some feedback. All criticism welcome! Don't worry folks, I can take it :D

very well done i know your old stuffs i saw it 4 yrs ago , u should trim them somewat in that reel , liked the birds wing folds ,but hated the bat like winged creature kinda stiff , but genereally well done !
can u tell which software ? also wat about tools or scripts ?

Yeah I see what you mean about the older stuff. Which bat creature did you mean, the pterodactyl?
It's almost all done in softimage. I'm working on some maya rigs now. As for tools and scripts, what was your question? I didnt understand. I use scripting and make my own tools yeah, I guess I should have shown that :blush:

Super rigs))) The most interesting thing is how to create a secondary motion (in Maya).
Did you post any tutorials about it?

Just a question, about your secondary motion stuff, does that animation have to be plotted out before point caching/rendering? I've found in the past that on jobs with lots of characters this kind of setup can be hard to deal with, do you have a special way of handling it?

Hey Christo78,

Yeah, using the automated secondary stuff we had to plot everything before sending it to render. We then also cached everything, but that was just so everything is clean and locked in the final stage.
In production, it's not actually hard to do (plot everything). If you built everything really organized and group them correctly, it's just a matter of making a few scripted buttons for the plotting commands.
