Let me first say that this is a very nice piece. It just needs some minor tweaking. As for the proportions, I like her hips to shoulder ratio right now. I think what's bugging me is that her neck is slightly long and her arms are slightly short. Try messing with the upper body proportions a little more to get her to look more natural. Her rib cage looks a little thin as well (shoulder to shoulder I mean). Overall, I think her upper torso is long. Also, I would repaint her belt buckle because it's just looks like a blotch righ now, and it looks like you don't like to paint hair, because everything is nicely painted otherwise. It's the only place that doesn't have much detail. Also she needs a belly button. Good luck!

yeah, you're right.........i don't like painting hair :)
i think you have a good point about the neck.......
the arms were a little longer first.........i am not sure, maybe you're right.....
thanks for the comments............

what software are you using?
11-25-2003, 10:16 PM
looks clean, good job.
11-28-2003, 02:26 PM
i use the software which is provided to me by the company i work for at that time..........
but i have to say that Maya has my preference for modelling and uv-unwrapping..............
11-28-2003, 05:27 PM
I completely agree! I like max as well, but maya's unwrapping and work flow is truly amazing. Even better with some handy mel modeling scripts!

her head does not seem to be shaped quite right - try bringing the eyes down a little, see if that helps! The texturing seems quite blurry for a pair of 512s, and the heavy shading around the necklace seems out of place. That said, she's a fairly cute character, although she's packing a practically illegal amount of junk in the trunk ;)

Shes a bit ugly lol...unless shes suppose to be like that..I think you need to shorten her nose and round out her cheeks and chin area and give her lips more shape her body looks great though but the skin color seems too yellow. Thats all I can see thats wrong.

hmm, you may be right about the nose............
i have to disagree with the rest of your comments, i really like her face myself.........
12-01-2003, 06:37 PM
ok, some minor changes..............

I like the changes to her face and body! Did you update her upper body? Because now she has a serious hour-glass! I see that you haven't added any changes to the hair though! I want to see a back view when have time to post again.

oh.. i like those hips... nice, a little overboard but nice.

i also prefer the new face, i just lowered the eyes as someone suggested............still have to paint the hair though :)
but i am working on a new mesh at the moment, some kind of soldier / swat team guy.............i am going to finish that one first.................
i am always upgrading my portfolio.............

I like it. Am doing a degree in games design myself so am always interested in seeing things like this. I think the texture is particually well done , any chance of a mesh?
it's looking great Cosmo
the main thing that jumps out at me the second I look at it are the legs, it looks like they're broken just below the knee. I know the look you're going for, but I think you exaggerated it too much.
keep it up mang
