View Full Version : How to? Sand covering a box that is being blown away

Hello everyone,
I want to achieve this effect:
A box is under the sand and is being progressively discovered right to left (for example) as the wind blows away the sand recovering it.

Does anyone knows how to do this kind of effect, or knows a tutorial?...
I own krakatoa so I can render particles nicely but no TP and no pbox or else, only native pflow...

You can make a deflector going down through a layer of placed particles a few cm deep, and on collision send them to an event with some wind on it, should work. Then do a few separate sims with different placements of the particles by texture and different winds, so you get a more varied look.
