Hello all,

I'm working on a small comp-only explosion sequence, using a backplate I shot, some stock and Nuke.

I'm after some advice on the blast animation and pacing, as well as ways to convey more impact and violence to the air displacement. Also, how do you suggest I could get some secondary fires starting around? they need to come out of the blast itself, they shouldn't spontaneously appear.

I'm quite happy with the result so far but would be curious to know our opinions.

Remember, this is a small shot and everything is being done (and will be completed) within Nuke. I know it would be nice to see some roofs flying off and debris but hey, it's comp.

thanks

Marco

p.s: the birds need some work ;-)
