I'm interested too by the question .
Renderman is a high end product and designed for big STUDIOS , it's too hard to find tuts for it.
just buy it and you will recieve a large helpfile with it :D
there are also some books available at amazone
Try these, and the Exluna site. The BLue Moon REndering Tools Manual explains a bit as well.

I think prman manuals aren't enough clear for the novice and "The RenderMan Companion" book is oriented to programmers, the authors think the readers know how to compile with a C compiler and some other things that scare newbies and artists.
Sites with tutorials and information?
www.renderman.org (http://www.renderman.org)
http://www.rendermania.com
and of course
http://www.deathfall.com

im a complete novice when it comes to renderman.. but after using it the past week or so i see why it is being used by large studios. its so powerful that it makes the default rendering/shading network on maya look like dog poo... :D
well, it's definitely not for your average artist that's for sure...
www.highend3d.com has some nice samples and links on Renderman as well..
