not a showreel or demo, I am but a hobbyist.

I just threw together some clips and test renders cut scenes of stuff I been doing lately.
But got some interesting new effects I want to tinker with.

Looking good, it looks like you achieved what you were after.

If you wanted to go for a higher level of realism, I would suggest checking out a bunch of sci-fi movies and real life video taped explosions and use them as reference for tweaking and adjusting your settings.
