Hey guys, i never seemed to have this problem in the past. I'm doing a sky replacement, my subject is wearing white shorts and a bright orange top. So video co pilots colorama method doesn't work in this case.

I created an adjustment layer, added a color key. Keyed out the sky. Then drew a mask around the areas i don't want affected and inverted. However when it keys out, it ends up being black, and not that transparent checkered background for some reason. Some insight would be great. Also how would you guys approach a sky replacement when your subject is wearing bright colored clothes. Thanks.
