can anyone point me to polygonal and subdiv surfaces mapping with some basic tips and tricks? just need some notes on what I suppose to know and do when mapping subdivs and polygons, so I can start exploring myself...
for example I am experiencing problems with surfaces with holes... they are to messy when I go into UV texture editor! maya documentation does not help me very much... :(
When I put 2D textures as projection (triplanar) things can be much better, but I am not satisfied yet...
I hope I was at least a little bit clear where my problem is... :)
