Any news about it? :)

for the models could we use something like LDRAW/LeoCAD/MLCad? and maybe even existing models for these?

I have a question regarding the simulation...

it says that it has to be a complete simulation, but the question is - can i animate part of the "destruction" manually and then simulate the detatching parts only?

to put it in perspective - if a car goes tumbling down a montain, can i animate the most parts of the car falling manually and do the simulation only on things and parts that fall off? will that still count?

Brick questions:
Is it required to use these bricks you provided or similar?
Can we use bricks or blocks we like with approval?
Can submissions use generic cubes and not snapping together bricks?
Can bricks be real and stylized vs. plastic toys?

Thanks

You can use your own bricks, but theu need to work like
toy bricks (IE be able to snap together)

Yes
Can submissions use generic cubes and not snapping together bricks?
Fot this one I have to say No. Part of the challenge is that the bricks have to snap together

Can bricks be real and stylized vs. plastic toys?
I would prefer that the bricks be as close to the real thing. After all you can do a TON of amazing shapes with LEGO briicks
