Timespin Studios is working on an Unreal Tournament 2003 modification named Forsaken Time, and we are in need of team members to help out doing this modification.

Now, what is this mod all about?
Forsaken Time is set in a medieval/fantasy world filled with mystical weapons, characters, creatures and places. You play online against others in four different gametypes, with 12 different characters. One gametype is all about fun, where you race fantasy creatures against each other. the rest is all about slaying your enemy. The concept of this mod can be found HERE (http://timespin.net/forum/index.php?act=ST&f=5&t=12&st=0&#entry17).

Do I have any skills, or am I just an idea guy?
I have over 1 year of experience in Unreal Editor, and I am currently taking up unreal scripting so I can code bits of the mod (meele weapons and such). I am also writing norwegian guides for www.mapping.no about Unreal Editor and I trying to get a grip on making static meshes (Not quite skilled there yet).

Who else is in the team?
We have SuperSoPP, a talented musician ( Forsaken Time - Main Theme (http://timespin.net/files/music/ftmt.zip) ). Zerek, a good friend of mine and a good mapper and Katie who is an Australian concept artist ( weapon 1 (http://www.timespin.net/images/weapons/Omedi.jpg) , weapon 2 (http://www.timespin.net/images/weapons/damank.jpg) ) (One modeler (mafi) and a mapper (wallrod) is currently not active due to school and real-life)

We are seeking members in these positions:
Programmers - Must have experience in UnrealScript, have proven work that works online as well as offline, adapt to others code and work out own code.

Modelers - You must have experience with one or more 3d modeling programs, be able to texture small models, create content on demand and help out mappers. Character modelers must be able to either skin models or export UW map for skinners.

Mappers - Must have experience with Unreal Editor 3, and create atmospheric maps in medieval/fantasy style. Making own static meshes is a plus!

concept artists - Have proven work, be able to draw storyboards, characters, enviromental places or weapons and colour art (that should be coloured) that will be used on the media page. Being able to make wallpapers, art, textures, skins, ingame material etc. is a plus

We listen to our team members suggestion, ideas and comments, and respect each others meaning. We are doing this mod to gain experience, have fun and make something we proudly say: "I was part of that".

This mod is non-profit, so I can't pay you anything but experience and a (mostly) fun time while doing this mod. If you are interested in joining, you can post HERE (http://timespin.net/forum/index.php?act=SF&f=15), send an email to timespin@timespin.net or come by #timespin @ irc.gamesnet.net

Hope to see many replies, emails and visits to our forum and irc channel. If you are busy, you can always come by and have a little chat with us.

Hi, I could be interested in helping you out. Drop by the website and if you think I could be of any use to you then get in touch. Thx for your time. Note that a lot of my work is now pretty old and I'm sure I'm a hell of a lot better than my work depicts on the site:)

Plus I could do with the experience whilst I actively seek a job in the industry

Kind regards
Mark Battista

It is still down for me, but I'll be checking in now and then to see if it comes up (might just be my dns that is not updated yet :) ).
If it dosen't work, you can just do a post here: http://timespin.net/forum/index.php?act=SF&f=15. No registration needed, and you can upload some pictures of your work :)

I wish I could help, however I am working on another project. Perhaps I can help in the future. I just wanted to say that SuperSoPP's Main Theme music is extremely good. Especially for the type of game you're making.

First, I would like to welcome Mark battista as an addition to our team as a modeler  :applause:

Second, we are still looking for help, especially in the conceptual artist section to create concepts of weapons, characters and enviroments. I hope someone is interested
