yeah is learning a lot on Houdini, from those videos.
Maybe later, they begin making more, advanced tutorial videos.
Best regard, a happy Houdini apprentice user.

I was hoping new videos would soon come up showing the changes happened in Flip Solver,Cloth and Pyro.
Houdini guys have made software quite remarkable but if someone new like me is trying to learn it through some old tutorial available both free as well as paid ,he might face some issues as not only new option have been included but also old option are now removed which cause confusion.

I don't know why but if I try to recreate the same effect in pyro using the same settings as used by the Houdini artists in presets ,my result comes out totally different,I don't understand the reason ,hope somebody will soon clarify such issues.
Also I tried the to open old tutorial file but it gives error ,I can understand the changes but I suppose apart from Houdini every other software opens old version files with ease.

With Houdini 12 we just released Pyro FX 2 which works differently than past versions. The whole network structure of PyroFX is different so the old files would have problems. Can you should me a link to the particular lesson you were using so I can archive it? thanks.

Thanks Robert for your reply, actually I made a flame thrower kind of effect in Houdini's previous version while learning it but unfortunately I am unable recreate it in the newer version.

Also I have tried to build most of your preset models(e. explosion, flame etc.) from scratch using the same values which are shown in pyro parameters but unfortunately unable to recreate the same effect,May be there are some settings which are hidden under the nested graph which I am unable to find out but it would be great if you would come up some tutorials showing how these effects could be created from scratch for better understanding of user.

In Pyro as every one knows shading is very important so do include shading part in forth coming tutorials.Love to see cloth enhancement related stuff too in upcoming models.

I always find Houdini's tutorial bit more technical explaining everything no doubt but what if they become more artist friendly.

All kinds of awesome - You guys have made it "third time's a charm" for me - as on two other occasions I have tried to learn Houdini and failed. Going very strong now and it's really sinking in and loving it :)

Keep em coming...
