I'm using flex to animate a chin-length hair on a cel-shaded character. Problem is, the tips of the hair intersect the head during animation. And flex doesn't function well with deflectors, especially object-type deflectors.
I used Simcloth 2.5 as another resort (since simcloth 3 doesn't seem to have softbodies anymore: which is what I want) but I got problems during simulation where the hair object repositions itself like it's pivot is somewhere other than where it currently is, before starting. Which is really frustrating. :scream:
Anyway, I was thinking that maybe there is a plugin or maxscript that makes you specify to render one object in front of another so that intersections won't be seen during rendering.
If there is, please let me know guys. :)
Any help with my problem above is greatly appreciated! :)
Thanks guys!
