hey guyz.wonderin if u can help me out
i wanna render the back ground seperately from the object...but i still want the reflection of the background and the set to be on the object...i know there's a way to do this..i just forgot...

one way would be to build up a reflectionmap out of the environment. there are a few scripts and shaders out there available to do this. another way would be to switch off the "overall visibility" for the environment objects. simply select all of the objects you don't wanna see, except in the reflection of the other surface, and go to the windows-generell editors-attribute spreadsheet. there you will find a tab "render" and a column "primary visibilty" switch that off, and maybe other attribues like "cast shadow" or "receive shadow" too if you need or want.
there are more then these two ways out there, but will be a good start.
