Hey Y'all

Here's me and a friend of mines major project at University. An animated short called Hashassin. It is a dark tale about an assassin telling his life story on his way to "work".

Enjoy.

head to the hashassin section. THe movie is 35mb and you need quicktime 5 to view it.

Any comments or flames are welcome!

Hey again,
I've put some more mirrors in place now so download speeds should be a bit higher.

Hi, don't take this the wrong way but the “acting” is very stiff i.e. lots of twinning, computer looking movements. You could have done tons of subtle acting to make the characters more interesting and likable. The story needs work (most important!); it isn't very interesting or involving.

On the plus side, you do have a completed short (that is more than most people could say). The city models are cool.

Well,I'm sorry but I have to agree with Pin_pal.
The acting sucks and the story needs lots a more work.

You probably won't work on it any longer tough, I have to say I was impressed with the buildings and architecture, the character animation is kinda unrealistic, but hey, who am I to crit your work, at least you have a short.
Think I'll start on one to , hmm..:)

I agree with what the others said, but I wouldn't give up on it. You should go back and work on some of the animation. The characters need to be more expressive.

Hey Y'all

Thanks for the comments.
Yeah, I agree with you on the animation. It was never one of our goals to make a "character animation" piece, our goal was to tell a story.
But then again there is always the risk that if it's too crappy it is distracting. I hope this isn't the case.

Now if we could find a job as well.... :)
