View Full Version : Interior render - grainy/pixelated

I was wondering if anyone may be able to help, I'm currently rendering an interior view using 3D Studio Max and Mental Ray. There is one window with an MR Daylight setup with a Skylight through the window.

I seem to be getting grainy/pixelated shadows and reflections, does anyone know why or what setting I need to look at or increase to improve these areas?

probably you would like to increase samples for reflections as well as for shadows.
I can't tell you how many samples you should increase as it also depends on your scene scale and lighting too.
