I have searched the internet high and low and can't seem to find much information on how the wind works in blender. I want to understand what exactly the noise, seed, and flow do. I am still really new to 3D animation, I've only been using blender for a short time, hence such a noobish question, but does anyone know of any good sources for in depth information on all the force fields in blender (especially wind)

Hi, here is an overview about the force/wind settings:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Physics/Force_Fields
It sometimes better to know what you want to do with it to help, a real "handbook" of blender donīt exists.
Something like this?

Cheers, mib.
Btw. This is a good forum but the blender section is a bit silent.
May you have also a look to http://www.blenderartists.org/forum/
