CGTalk - maya display error

hey there, after format c: and reinstalling all I recognized this strange display error in maya.

when I start maya I see my 4 view panes. pressing space on one should maximaize the specific view. but my problem is, that maya maximizes my view pane but the new maximized view is empty. it's just grey without any objects, grid etc...

it just works with the front view :surprised

and if I use the hotbox (hold space, click in the middle and choose for example top view) it works fine.

anybody any ideas? I allready reinstalled maya......can it be a driver problem??

driver issue would be my very first guess in that case.

what gfx card, what OS ?

windows xp and a gf ti4600, driver 52.16

hm maybe should i try an older driver, will do this now

go for 43.51

that is the one i have the least problems with (and a certified one by alias).

HA! I just got the same problem after format

I've got the newest nvidia driver though, guess i'll go back to 43.51 then :)

yeah the new drivers suck..i guess they are great for the newcards but i have the old drivers also....:rolleyes:
