Gorgeous. Like the high contrast of the image, and the textures are great.

Could you take away some of the black at the sides of the image and post it larger so that we can see the details?

Nosferatu rocks

Somehow, there is something I don't buy in this image. I do like it, like the model, like the textures, like the background, but I think the final composition is a bit odd. He's got a spotlight from his upper left hand that doesn't cast shadows from the arc on the curtain?? And then there is another spotlight on his feet. And the rays on the curtain aren't parallel. There is probably too much contrast overall as well. I mean you have big patches of pure black that do nothing for your image.
Maybe you should post this on the evocative forum.
I like the mood it conveys anyway. Keep it up.

Nice modelling and texturing! But the lightning seems to be a problem ;)
The light which is directed on his shoes you should delete cause that makes the pic look strange... And the light ray which go through the curtain should be parallel.

I am SO glad to see you finally finished this character, Ender! He came out BEAUTIFULLY!

Plugged on the front page.

I love your presentation of him. There is something a little odd about the lighting, especially on the left side of his face where is almost looks like the gamma is a bit weird, but other than that I think this image looks superb.

Fantastic work, you really captured the creepy essence of this character.

The mood is great, but there is somewhat of a symmetrical feel to the picture. It looks a bit fake. It might help if the hands weren't identical. The feet look also a bit flat, I think some additional texturing would do wonders.
All in all, a great piece!

Its the Nosferatu manipulating the shadows he has magical powers you know ;)

Seriously though it looks nice I do have to agree there is something off in the lighting but it looks very nice

Excellent mood, . I'm assuming that you used Brom's "Dirt and Blood" painting as reference. Love it man. though I'll admit I lean in favour of the original.

All in all Excellent job!:buttrock:

holy hell...

Seriously freaky... the lighting bothers me just a bit, to sharp of a contrast between the light and dark, but overall, damn good!

I love the detail and textures on the main character but I'm not in love with the background.

The stonework at the top of the picture looks like a flat cardboard cutout because the lighting doesn't match the rest of the image.

The curtain looks unfinished [to me]. I can see that you've gone for a smooth velvet look but it seems way too clean and perfect considering the holes in it.
Speaking of the holes in the curtain, they are all too similar in size and shape.

I reckon the picture would have been just as dramatic and successful if you cropped most of the background out and just focused on the character.

you might want to indicate in your post that this was inspired by Brom's painting, just to clear up any confusion.

Sweet evil. :)

The character looks awesome, nice detail, texmaps, lightning, almost everything. But the environment lacks detail. It took a while for me only to figure out what the backgroung was supposed to be. Like other said before, this is due to the odd light setup not matching to the character...
...but in the other hand, makes the image more creepy, and harder to visualize.

Oh, and BTW, I love the great contrast between the bright bald head, and the rest of the image. I'm a contrast maniac, thats true...
and another thing that bothers me is that there is a small glow around the enter point (holes on the curtain) of the light beams, but no glow at all around Nosferatu's bright head. Another odd thing, that teras the character out from the background...

Especially good work of art!

Nice work! (the posing is a bit too much symetrical and the character iscentered, so it lost a litte of dynamism) otherwise it's very well rendered and modelled!

Great work I love it. There seems to be a brown smudged area under the left curtain, I don't know if that' s a lit area or what it's trying to convey, but nice piece over all. Your characters have good proportion.

Great job settin the scene and playing with the lights. Also, good job in keep a consistant color scheme and continuity. THough i agree with some other posts that the shoes just see a bit out of place. Other then that, very well done.

I think this peice is very good. Great quality texture work as well as modeling and detail in the background and character. The lighting is also very nice, but I have one problem with it. Its nosferatu, not lieken, what I mean by that is that there should be no natural light of any kind in the image. I wouldn't think that dracula could withstand sunlight of any kind. With that as the only exception, the piece is very good.

oooohhhh certain..

surely that burns with as much light..in the image of brom it is totally day time ...this something cloudy.

he is something about which I have thought...but the nocturnal iluminaciones...... do not conencen to me..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I love the modeling, texturing, but I don't like the lighting at all..It needs more contrasting colors.. not just contrasting black and white from the spot light. It seems kinda dull. I would like to see some blood red

Nice one. Agree for the lighting.
From an animation point of view: you could work the legs and hand posing more. try not to make it feel symmetrical.

prsonal opinion:

1) twist the left hand in 20-25 degrees and change the fingers up and bring the hand forward a bit.

2) Left leg should feel a bit behing in Z.

3) turn the head slightly.
