You are SO good man!!! Everything is so nice and clean, color is great too! And most of all your characters feel alive, they are expressive, this is probably the best quality a character can have!
11-21-2003, 12:54 PM

11-21-2003, 01:36 PM
You have a very unique style my friend, This just proves that people can break the mold of the "Disney" / "Sheridan College"styles that were forced on alot students....this looks like it has alot of promise with a fresh perspective :D
11-21-2003, 01:44 PM
Oh BOY!! Barbucci and Canepa really have been sowing some seeds in the comic business.... the marriage of italian Disney style and SF rocked already in "Sky Doll", you have created something very nice in this tradition. Chapeau!
11-21-2003, 01:47 PM
Beautiful work here and at your site! Bookmarked!!!!!
11-21-2003, 02:04 PM
woohoo, nice work. I see it's gonna get published on Soleil, that a great company. Always delivers quality comics
11-21-2003, 02:10 PM
there's sooo much character inside :buttrock:
sehr sehr gut.
nothing to crit, except one thing.
when i look at the legs of your second char i would expect an upper body like your first one owns.
in other words, the legs could be a bit more athletic concerning to his really athletic body and his very challenging face.they seem kinda fat.
but just my 2 cents
they are really professional anyway
hope this is gonna blow the market
11-21-2003, 02:16 PM

11-21-2003, 04:05 PM
Those dinosaur-rider guys are too awesome - I love how all the designs have a kind of a happy, goofy look - sort of a Disney version of Star Wars (but Disney in a GOOD way). Top-notch!

great, fresh stuff - :bounce:
11-21-2003, 08:48 PM
hey really cool you like that stuff, Natalie can tell you that it was not really the easiest work for her to have me in her neck by doing the colorstyling. Always something to correct or colors to change here and there as well sometimes the animal books piled up on her desk. I´m sure she asked herself very often why she did any suggestion when at the end I changed everything into something new.
But to be honest without her help it would not been the same result.
All the ideas she had and her influence on many colors are what makes the final look whether it was the color for the eyes or the clothes as well her suggestions for names were a great inspiration.
She is new to the market and still study but she did really good artwork and I love and dream about to continue the collaboration on all following color stylings whether on this or any other project.
Joebount: here comes the kick :wip:

Argh! I can't find the books right now, so I can't name names! These characters remind me of some drawn by the team that drew/produced the Valerian comics about 30 years ago. Your work has a similar delightfully insane, "full speed ahead" charm. The rendering is dead on. I am really looking forward to the final product.
11-21-2003, 09:15 PM
I am just not worthy...
11-21-2003, 11:22 PM
Some of them like the 1st and the 4th make me think to the fantasy of miyazaki character, their great, i'd love to see their attitude in a cartoon
That's stunning man,excellent work !!
11-22-2003, 12:44 AM

11-22-2003, 05:08 AM
Great stuff....highly polished drawing skillz.
Im so ^**%$$% jealous of this...i so wish i could draw like this..
11-22-2003, 06:26 PM
Beautiful work as usual sten. Hope to see more of it soon. Tak care. ;)
11-22-2003, 07:11 PM
the rider dino things with the skinny soliders are really nice. I lke the continuity between the riders and the beast. A lot of sutles liek that get over looked when people develop such pairs. Never the less, you have a very believable pair there. Great work.
11-22-2003, 07:18 PM
Nice work :)
11-23-2003, 06:52 AM
i'm lovin' it!!!
i just saved your drawings to my hard drive to keep it.
it's worthy doing it!!
11-23-2003, 08:33 AM
Thanks to you all for the great positive reaction. Specially for you we will make an additional illustration in Painter to show you a few of this creatures here in action.
really nice work!! reminds me barbucci's style..isn't it?

11-24-2003, 09:26 PM
i honestly thought that the other (second) character wasnt fully drawn ... i thought you forgot to put the rest of his legs in but.....it seems that you didnt and im jus sayin that that kinda threw me off a bit....rather than that....YOU m friend have inspired me
