View Full Version : Graphics Card?
Ultimatum 11-21-2003, 08:22 AM Hello!
I´m gonna have P4 Intel 3Ghz, 2Gb RAM and 22" monitor.
I will use LW8 and Photoshop for professional work + some occasional gaming.
I have 350$ to use for graphics card. Which should I buy?
Thanks for any help!

In short, go GF Quadro (any of them will do fine) if you only use your computer to professional stuff, if gaming, choose ATi Radeon 9x00 - never GFFX. If you can't afford it, get yourself GeForce 4.
I think one of this threads should be stickified since there has been a few of threads like this around. I bet it has something to do with upcoming Christmas.

I do both Lightwave and gaming on my PC and I use a GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MB...never had a problem with it and it runs games (latest games like Battlefield 1942) and Lightwave really fast (even on my P3 800Mhz  ).
